All holiday greenery, including Christmas trees, decorative holiday wreaths and boughs, must have tinsel, ornaments and lights removed from them before being placed at the curb for pickup.

Live Christmas trees collected curbside are turned into mulch at an approved yard waste facility during the month of January. This is a much more environmentally friendly process than placing them into a landfill. Learn more.
