Mary Fitzgerald

Mary Fitzgerald joined the City Council of Oakbrook Terrace in May of 2021. She has been a resident of Oakbrook Terrace for 17 years, and resides in Berkshire. Mary is a nurse and experienced health care executive, having served in senior leadership positions in several Chicago hospitals and in Ireland.

Mary brings a strong business sense in the areas of planning, finance and operations.  Her major interests are in the areas of community service and the care of children with special medical needs.  As such, she has been a part of several volunteer opportunities and sat on the boards of both The Children’s Place Association, and St Lucy/St Catherine of Siena in Oak Park. She was also the President and a Board member of the Berkshire HOA for several years.

Her goal in joining the City Council is to assist in the continual growth and development of Oakbrook Terrace and to serve as a voice for the community.
